Jenny McDonald

Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Deakin University in 1977.  She holds a Diploma of Nutrition and Food Science, and a Graduate Diploma of Nutrition and Dietetics.

She is a well respected leader in her field, with previous roles as Chief Dietitian at St. Georges Hospital, Chief Dietitian at Fairfield Hospital, and Dietitian at Prince Henry's Hospital.  

Jenny regularly lectures on nutrition and HIV at Deakin University, and at GP courses within Victoria and interstate.  She is a regular presenter on nutrition for groups such as PLWHA and various AIDS Council Support Groups.

Jenny is co-author of "Eat and Enjoy, What to eat and Why" which is in its fourth edition, having sold 80,000 copies in Australia, and which has been endorsed by diabetes associations in Australia, New Zealand, UK, America and South Africa, and translated and published in Latvia.

Jenny has a long association with Prahran Market Clinic, and is also currently providing services to Southern Health, Positive Women and Straight Arrows, and the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, amongst others.
